My son wanted to do his hair this color for a costume. Nothing too permanent. His natural color is dark though. So we started with the bleach. It gave him a nice ginger tone that he liked. I followed the directions and had it in for about 30 minutes with a double dose of the bleach. Next, we attempted the silver despite not getting it very white. The bleach smell was overpowering, so be careful. The dye had a fruit punch scent though. Loved it. Easy to apply. But as you can see, absolutely no change after the slight orange. He's devastated, but now we know. This color isn't conducive for dark haired people.

Soooo I gave this a try thinking it would just help tone the yellowish bits out of my mostly platinum hair, while I made sure to carefully apply the color only on the yellower spots, It came out a patchy stained mess! The blonde parts were stained purple and the yellow parts were slightly less yellow but definitely not silver. Took 4 weeks to wash out the stained parts with treatments. This would be great for toning a copper color to blonde imo but uhhh if you’re already platinum or light blonde just get a good purple shampoo/conditioner and a different silver dye product this one AINT it
