Intense smokey flavor in a little bit of salt, it's great on burgers, steaks, salmon, and just about anything you don't have the time to throw in the smoker. I especially like to add a little extra to leftover broiled salmon that I then mix with softened cream cheese and some olive oil. I put it in the blender, and voila, instant smokey salmon spread or dip. Yum!

Spice Island's Smoked Salt adds a nice depth of flavor to grilled meats, vegetables and sauces. There is a robust wood infused outdoor cooking effect imparted to any dish this is sprinkled on. Use less than you would for regular salt. It tastes more concentrated.

I used smoked salt to season my spare ribs. They grilled nicely on my Foreman. The meat was well seasoned and it provided a slight smoky flavor I welcomed since I could not use a standard grill to cook the meat. You will not be disappointed.

My family has been using this for years when we grill. It adds a really great smoke flavor that isn't too overpowering. I think it must have been discontinued for a while because for a few years we couldn't find it anywhere, but thankfully it appears to be back on the shelves.
