The Spa Sciences MIO diamond, micro dermabrasion, and pore extraction skin resurfacing system is a great way to take your skin care routine to the next level. There’s multiple heads that are provided giving full suction in various areas of the face and allow allowing you to reach contours that may go deeper than others I will say I would give this a total five star reading if there was some sort of mechanism that actually held what comes out of your pores and its place. I find myself having to take the top off and rinse it as I’m going because I tend to have clogged pores more than most people. It’s easy to bring with you for traveling easy to clean and as long as you follow instructions, you should not see any bruising, but maybe just a little redness while your skin is calming down from being basically vacuumed. Overall, it holds its charge and it uses a USB-C, which is pretty standard. I think this is a great product and it’s a wonderful price point.

The Mio, by Spa Sciences, is a cordless diamond microdermabrasion system as well as pore extraction and skin resurfacing. And all in an affordable device you can use on yourself at home. It uses diamond bits and vacuum suction to clean out the pores and resurface the skin. The Mio has 5 various speed settings as well as three different shaped tips. They are so easy to change out. After one use my face is softer, smoother, feels cleansed and rejuvenated. It also helps to smooth, polish and exfoliate dry areas, even skin tone and diminish fine lines and wrinkles. Congested areas are purified and large pores are minimized. This device helps give skin a lovely healthy glow. When using MIO, use short, even strokes, holding the skin taut with a free hand, then move the tip across your skin in small areas. Always keep it moving and do not stay in one spot for too long. Also, start at a low speed and increase gradually. It is very powerful and I have not moved beyond the first setting as of yet. It is best to use after a hot steamy shower or after using a hot towel on my face. I like to polish my skin first. I like to go in a vertical direction first followed by the horizontal to cover my entire face, in what is called a crosshatch pattern. After rinsing and drying my face then next up I use the pore extraction. It is really amazing to see how much gunk is suctioned out of my pores. I finish off by splashing my face with Spa Sciences Hydrating Tonic. It is recommended to use the device once a week.
