Its splash proof design makes it a great pick for outdoor use as well, whether it’s a hike, or a short trip or simply just carrying it around without worrying too much. The only real downside is the way it projects sound. It does not spread audio, especially wide so you only get the best result when it’s placed at the best listening angle, directly in front of you. Sit off the side and it loses some of that room filling immersive feel. Compared with speakers that make the music feel more open and organic in the space, this one can sound a bit more directional and contained, despite the bass and treble fine tunings.
