You'd better hope to get this one sale. We're having to replace one of ours after the analog stick on the left side stopped working (5 months of use). So if you're playing COD and all the sudden you cant stop running .... you're screwed lol. Trying to find a new more durable controller now... ugh

I have the gen 2 PS4 controller and prefer it to the gen 1. It cost about as much as a new game. I use mine almost everyday. Mostly play COD WWII. It also is not too bulky so it is comfortable to hold.

As a person who is fresh to the Sony Play Station world, I love it. I haven't had a Sony PlayStation since the first ever one that was out. During the move between houses, and my mom's vendetta against video games, it got thrown out. Nonetheless, I still had all my Nintendo consoles. So I'm old enough to have my own PS4 and video games. So anyways, I first had my experience with the controller when playing demo games at stores. It's very comfortable, but I wasn't really used to all the buttons that much. And I think I chose a hard game to try to get used to it on. Nonetheless, it's amazing. For the most part I've gotten much of it down in a short time span considering I'm a full time student with a part time job doing an accelerated degree with a minor. The motion controls kind of bug me though, but without them I feel weird too. I enjoy the realistic features to the controller, whereas if an island falls you feel it shake. It makes it interesting and full of suspense, but also it frustrates me because I know I'm not that good at time based tasks. Doesn't mean I give up at them. What really intrigues me is the power button to the PS4 is on the controller. That's really impressive, and the cable can dupe as an android charger. Very impressive. For someone who is still fresh to this, I'm very impressed. I haven't used the touch pad though, I have small hands, I don't know what I'm supposed to use it for to be honest.

I love the new controllers and the concept of it, but after a while the buttons start to stop working and buttons are harder to push. Its frustrating and these controllers are not cheap!!!

This controller is subpar. It is lacking in the durability department. I can get carried away playing games and I will just hit the controller in my hands. This has resulted in a broken controller. I have also found that the controllers can be very glitchy. I've had to reset my system because the controller would be stuck doing the last action (crouching and my character will stay crouched). Even after turning the controller on and off it will not fix the problem. This is not a good controller for the controller throwers or in my case just smacking the controller with my other hand.

I would rate this a 4.5. The controller is bigger and more steady has more weight to it. Which is better when playing a game in my opinion. My bf loves playstation he has all the consoles Sony DualShock 4 Wireless Controller - Black (PlayStation 4)

We purchased this controller because of course the console only comes with one. That is one negative I have with the console. The fact that you have to buy more products Sony DualShock 4 Wireless Controller - Black (PlayStation 4)

This is the perfect size and fit game controller for me. Feeling the vibrations is on point every time an explosion arise, or notify me when something is nearby, or racing, etc. Buttons aren't as big or annoying. Worth every penny.

PlayStation 4 wireless controllers are a bit pricey in my opinion around 50-60 each controller that's way too pricey for me but if you want to play with friends then having more than one controller is a must and you never know when you'll need an extra controller so it's handy to buy extras

This controller feels very comfortable in hand but do you feel like they could've made the touch pad maybe easier to reach rather than have to extend your thumb and almost take your hand off the controller to use it?

I received a DS4 as a gift about 3 years ago for PC gaming (works great!). My roommate just got a PS4 and I noticed that, on her DS4, there's an extra light bar on the front if the touch pad. It got me wondering; Are there any major differences to the controller that would warrant an upgrade?
