For someone with extremely oily skin this product has been a god-send for touch ups between make-up application. It bots the oil on your skin without making you look pale eventhough the powder itself seems light its very translucent. My only wish for this powder is that it should come in a better compact and have a better applicator. The compact and applicator feel cheap in comparison to the premium quality of the powder.
This is a fantastic powder! I get breakthrough oil throughout the day and just a few dabs of this powder clear that up right away. I don't think it clogs my pores at all. I have combination skin but its more on the oily side, I think this powder works really well with my skin type because it is so gentle. Because its such a great product at a reasonable price, I will buy it again!
Worked amazing on my combination but particularly dry skin! My dry spots didnt patch up like many powders cause to happen yrt it effectively brought down oil-created shine in my t zone while locking my makeup in! Doesn't flashback either surpsingly! The colour isn't QUITE translucent but is a very soft yellow/cream tone that actually brightened up my face nicely.
I love this blotting powder especially when I’m at work and sometimes my t-zone oiliness takes over! I love the retro packaging of all S&G products too. This doesn’t come with a powder puff, so you will have to buy one separately. It takes any shine away and mattifies beautifully.
Review for: Cool Sand more...
The worst foundation I've ever used. Dried so blotchy and flakey you'd think my skin was flaking off. It doesn't blend well at all and ends up very cakey. This brand needs to stick with the soap and lotion cause I love that of theirs but this was a horrible fail.
This foundation is great but it does make me lighter I bought sand and it looked more like porcelain or ivory I was pale as a ghost and this foundation does turn into powder effect instead of matte or air spray
This product does a fair job in my opinion. To rate it 1-10, I would give it a 6. I am a bigger fan of loose powders, however, I keep this one in my purse since it’s portable and causes minimum mess. I’m super oily and it does a decent job. The price is good if you’re considering purchasing, it is available at Target.
i️ have only tried the one heck of a blot pressed powder and it’s one of my favorite products. i️ love using it to set my foundation and then sticking it in my purse to use throughout the day when my t zone gets oily. i️ especially love how this product doesn’t make my makeup look cakey or anything!
I was disappointed in this foundation because some of my favorite beauty bloggers were raving about this product so I tried it out for myself and I didn't like it. After one coat of foundation it made my face cakey.
