I am a very avid stick foundation user, so when I saw this I thought I would try it because I love other Smashbox products.  My first thought on this is that is overpriced for how much product you get.  Considering the coverage is light to medium for the foundation, $42 is too much for the amount of product.  I do think that it applies easily and blends out as needed.  I find that it feels a little on the greasy side, so beware if you have oily skin.

The contour shade works great for me, I was worried because I am so fair and the color looked really dark but it blends out great and gives you a nice contour look that isn't muddy.  I got the lightest shade and still would like a shade lighter so I am a little less orange-y.  This product DOES oxidize - so be careful if shade matching online also!! If the price was lowered, I would definitely use this a lot more and it would go into my foundation rotation.  However for $42 I would prefer to get a more high coverage Hourglass Stick Foundation that is less greasy.

Okay, so this product is decent, but it wasn't amazing. I do really love the contour side of the stick, however the foundation was too yellow for my preference. I tried a couple different "neutral" shades, yet all seemed to fall more on the warm scale against my skin tone. I think they are easy to blend, and build decently, but the shade range is just not up to par.

I love this product. I actually use it over top of my foundation because it looks better and blends easier for a smoother contour but it is SO easy to contour with and definitely beats the pallets that you only use two colors in and have to apply with a brush. Has made my life so much easier and I will always buy this product.

This is my go-to foundation product at the moment.  I absolutely LOVE it! I'm a big fan of Estee Lauder's double wear foundation, but I've been getting lazy since I have to mix several colors to get the shade I want. This foundation stick allows me to easily apply onto my face in a matter of seconds. I do agree that it is on the pricier side. I picked one up from Sephora when it was half-off and was amazed.

There's a wide variety of shades that come with the complimentary bronzer color. I rarely - if ever - use that bronzer side. But the foundation is pretty silky smooth. I apply a few lines over my face and blend it out with my brush and the job is pretty much done. I think it provides full coverage, even on days when my skin is not looking great. It lasts up to 12 hours although towards the end of the day, I do feel more shiny and some areas become flaky.

I also don't use any finishing powder following application, which I should start doing. Once the make-up is applied, it actually comes off quite easily if not sealed. So far, the stick has lasted me for 2 and a half months, and I use it almost every single day. I have found them sold at discounted make-up stores at the outlet, so hopefully you can get your hands on a cheaper one!

I was not interested in this foundation at all when i saw adds and reviews. I recently saw it in store and decided to go ahead and try it. So glad I did! This foundation swipes on the skin very easily but doesn't feel greasy at all. It also blends out very easily so i can get full or light coverage. I was told that each contour color was specially made for each foundation shade and I believe it. The contour looks beautiful with the foundation. It's not too warm and not too cool. It's perfect. I use it with the smash box matte primer stick because I have oily skin and it looks great. I think this will work for any skin type if you prep your skin accordingly. I will travel with this from now on since it's two products in one.

Review for: Fair more...
This product was half amazing for me. The foundation stick I wasn’t crazy about (not full coverage and feels oily on the skin), but the contour side on the other hand was incredible. It blends so well and leave a natural but define color on the face. I wish smashbox sold the contour alone. The price is fair but I probably will not buy again unless the come out with a contour stick alone.

This was OKAY... I mean OK because it was very sticky. Alone it worked good but when I added my blush & highlight to finish my look .. it started clumping. But I decided to use it alone one day when I was running late and barley had time and just contoured the main parts and I liked it that way. It gave a little life to my bare face! Lol

Agh. The promotion and packaging were gorg and definitely felt luxurious, as normal for smashbox! For the price, I was actually pretty happy because you received foundations and contour! I have combo skin, but definitely more neutral if anything with oiliness on the nose! I used my normal routine when applying and found it definitely was a light-moderate coverage foundation while the contour was moderate to full! furthermore, after an hour, the foundation separated all over my skin. I tried using all smashbox skin products afterwords, and the same happened. I was pretty disappointed, but I loved the cream contour and I actually use it pretty often, as it is super creamy and long lasting!

This is a must have in my make a bag It is super convenient. It is medium coverage but very buildable. I love that it has a contour shade at the other end. The only downside that I have found is that I tend to go through the foundation faster than the contouring shade but that's probably just the way I am using it So now I have several sticks of contouring shades and not very much foundation left. I like that in holds of in the Texas heat that is very important Because it is hard to find a foundation that will.

Bought this from ulta after having my eye on it for a while, when I found it marked down half off! Super glad that I picked it up! I have very textured skin, with lots of scaring on my chin, and redness on my cheeks. My skin is combo/oily. I prime my skin with the smashbox original photo ready primer, and top with this, set with the too faced ethereal setting powder and it always looks flawless!! I work long 12 hour shifts in an ER, and my foundation always looks good at the end of my shift!
ALSO!! the contour end of this product is by far one of my favorite contouring products! the color matches perfectly, and always blends out like a dream! it's perfectly ashy and never looks muddy!!

Do these tend to run warm toned for contour or are they more neutral/cool?
