I think for some dogs this is a great product, but my dog got frustrated and annoyed with it and managed to fling it. I tried it with peanut butter and also with yogurt and he didn't seem to care about it. He's not very motivated by food, so the second time I tried it, he walked away. I think there are a lot of food motivated dogs that this would be perfect for though.

My dog really loved this lick mat! It takes them longer to get things up with this mat than others, but the raised parts are still far enough apart that they can get all the food up and there isn’t anything grimey left behind.

For our dog we haven’t used it as a slow feeder but more as a lick mate for peanut butter. It doesn’t stick to the ground as much as I’d like but it’s holding up just fine.
