These beds start out great...but after 2-3 years things don't work so well. Our display on the controllers went, and shortly thereafter it seemed like we had to adjust the bed multiple times throughout the night.
My back is always hurting, and I know for a fact it is the way I sleep. Sleep number just seems so expensive. Is it worth saving up for and purchasing? Or are you just paying too much because it is a brand name? Is there anything out there that is just as good, but cheaper?
Trust me this bed is so worth it! I have had two back surgery each a year apart and my sleep number is the only bed that keeps my back from tensing up in the morning! You will not regret it if you buy this.
After a month or so I will notice it getting flat I just inflate to 100 then put back to my number. This seems to be more of a issue if I am changing my number setting a lot or depending on the weather probably because air pressure changes. I had read something that you should put it back to 100 every day. But if you are having a faster leak then I described like flat over night you might want to check the hose connections if that doesn't help maybe call sleep number.
I'm a huge believer in a good nights rest. We spend a third of our lives sleeping it therefore affects us more than we think. From time to time my back starts hurting and same goes for my husband. We sleep on a bellagio brand mattress that we purchased in 2015 so it's new. I love the bed, but I sometimes wonder are there Better beds that truly stand out above the rest?
I've needed a new mattress for a long time and I've been debating between the sleep number and just a regular memory foam mattress. I have a queen do you think the sleep number is better than just a memory foam one? Is it really worth the money?
I Love my sleep number bed! Memory foam breaks down. My mom bought a sleep number bed 20 years ago the only problem she has is the cover is getting a hole. But that can be purchased without buying a whole new bed. Also the sleep number bed is good for allergies because it can't hold dust mites they. Have them now with a built-in foam topper I personally did not get that because if I want a topper I can buy it latter. It is also great because my husband can have his side rock hard and I can have my side soft! That being said there customer service after you buy sucks. They scheduled my delivery then no showed on me I had to take a day off for nothing when I called they said I was rescheduled because my bed had not been received by the local installer. So the day before my next delivery to confirm that I was going to get it this time I call and I get the same story. Third time I finally got my bed they never did anything to compensate me for all the hassle.
