Definitely a balm & it goes on thick. I use this primarily in the winter, and only at night if my skin it particularly dry. I would not recommend this as a daily moisturizer because it will leave the skin a little oily. It's perfect for chapped or overly dry skin. It's not scented and doesn't tingle like most of the other products in this line, so good for sensitive skin. If you're in a serious bind, this does make a great primer - keep in mind, a little goes a long way.

This is SKYN's heavy duty lotion. It also doesn't have the same tingly sensation as the daily antidote cooling lotion, which was disappointing for me since that's my favorite part of most of their product. It does seem much better for people with really sensitive skin.

Okay for sensitive skin, but doesn't work as well as some cheaper products. Weird texture and smells a bit like chalk. Definitely not my favorite lotion.
