Skylar’s perfumes tend to be a bit off-putting for me—there’s something in their fragrance DNA that I just don’t like. I do have two perfumes from this brand that I enjoy, but Isle Escape isn’t one of them. I’d say it’s an okay perfume—not necessarily bad, just not for me. On the initial spray, it smells too strong, almost like a mix of cigarette smoke and sunscreen. However, judging it solely on the first spray would mean missing out on the middle notes, which are much nicer than the top. After about 5-10 minutes, I picked up more of the cardamom and something earthy. It’s not terrible, but it’s not something I’d reach for. I also didn’t get much of the citrus notes, despite the fragrance listing multiple citrusy ingredients. Notes: - Top: Bergamot, Orange Mist, Fresh Quince - Middle: Cardamom, Peony Caress, Ginger Root - Base: Sandalwood, Subtle Musk, Golden Amber The bottle has a nice weight and is distinguishable to the brand. I like the curved mold of the inner corners, but I’m not a fan of the packaging sticker—it makes some of their scents look a bit cheap. A Few Other Pointers to Consider: - Sillage: 2/10 – I don’t think this leaves a trail at all. - Longevity: 6/10 – Lasts about 4-6 hours. - Projection: 4/10 – A very earthy skin scent that doesn’t project much. Overall, I’d rate this 2/5—not something I’d find myself reaching for.

This scent smells very good. It reminds me of the ocean, it’s a clean salty scent. I really enjoyed using this perfume.
