Skinfood - Lemon Tea Salt Mask Foam 170g
Top Questions No one has asked a question yet! Be the first!
exfoliate dead skin cells and leave your skin soft and supple
(similar to a sheet mask). I have tried several of Skinfood’s
cleansers and always had pretty good luck, but this is the first time
I’ve had a poor reaction to a product. Firstly, the salt granules
are much more coarse than I prefer. If you aren’t super careful, it
can actually cause microtears in your skin! I experienced some big
red spots the first time I used this product. On the upside, it
exfoliated my face really well and my skin felt smooth. I also didn’t
get any pimples afterwards.
the longer I used this cleanser, the dryer and flakier my skin got.
I’m prone to dry skin anyways, but the lemon and salt mix was just
too harsh for me. It actually ended up being quite painful to cleanse
with, even though I was trying to be gentle with my hand motions. If
you’re looking for a gentler Skinfood cleanser, I recommend the
black sugar scrub foam. It doesn’t irritate my dry skin nor does it
cause any pain. Overall I’d give It a 3\5
because it does the job, but it is too harsh for some people. In my
opinion, the price is a bit high for what you get.
THE SCENT IS LIGHT YET LEMONY. NOTHING TOO OVERWHELMING. THE TEXTURE OF THIS PRODUCT IS LIKE ANY OTHER EXFOLIATING SCRUB. THOUGH BECAUSE THERE IS SALT IN THIS PRODUCT IT IS ON THE MORE COARSER SIDE BUT IT LEAVES MY FACE FEELING SUPER SOFT. I️ ISE THIS PRODUCT TWICE A WEEK THAT WAY IT DOESN’T OVER DRY MY FACE.
