SK-II Essential Power Essence
Used a sample of this and it left my skin feeling really good + my pores looking smaller for the two weeks that I used it. The price was pretty shocking, but I would consider buying it after I run out of my current essence. It was not as sticky or greasy as other essences I have used, so I would recommend this to anyone who's looking to invest a lot on skincare.
I got this as a 100 point reward from Sephora because I heard so many great things about it and couldn't wait to see if it lived up to the hype. The tiny sample that I received lasted me over a month and it really made a huge difference on my dry and broken out skin. After just a few uses I could tell that my skin was already clearing up and brighter. Can't say enough great things about this, I only wish that it was more affordable.
I had a small sample of this from ebay; I wanted to like this a lot. Unfortunately my face kept breaking out when I used it and I don't know why. It has so many magical properties to it (allegedly) and so I kept using it thinking that my skin just needed to "get used to it" but my skin just got worse and worse and needed aloe. Wish I could give this a better review, just did not work out for me.
This product was very easy to use, I received a sample from Nordstrom. I used this product only one time, and I don't know if it was my sensitive skin, but it broke me out after using only one time. I used it at night time, and when I woke up I had acne on my forehead. I would not purchase this product again, due to the specific reasons stated.
I use this essence after cleansing and toning my skin. It reduced the size of my pores in a couple of weeks, and helps will cell turnover so newer skin cells are brought up to the surface faster. the only downside is the price point. $125 for an essence, in a multi step skincare routine.
I have never tried anything that works as well for fine lines. Within two weeks I could see some fine lines around my mouth, and eyes start to soften. It's gentle, and brightening, and great. A bit pricey, but worth it. I'd rather invest in my skin now, then have to struggle later.
