Has anyone else noticed that "radiance" seems to be the skincare buzzword du jour? It's certainly timely, as we embrace spring's welcome arrival, rework our skincare regimens and step into the warmer months striving for a refreshed, glowy youthfulness - or at minimum the illusion of it. I'll note that I started using a certain retinoid more often over the past few months and knew that only the most innovative formula would be up to the task. Sisley's Radiant Glow Express Mask came highly recommended, and though I am a fan of the brand it seemed counterintuitive that what is effectively a cleansing mask would be able to deliver. This is an award winning formula featuring ingredients like red vine, carrot glycerin, chamomile, rosemary and various clays. Together, they reduce the presence of impurities that dull the skin's appearance and promise efficient, noticeable results. Several times a week for two weeks, I applied to a freshly cleansed face and neck and let sit for 3-5 minutes. As an aside, the mask has a beautiful floral scent that is admittedly intoxicating but will be a downside for some. While I was initially very pleased with the immediately radiant, subtly...pearlescent effect - especially at the high points of my face - I found that it did not last more than a few hours. I actually was more impressed with how moisturized and supple my skin felt afterward. The mask was so substantially hydrating that most days it was all I wore under my SPF. This product is great but not necessarily for the reasons it is intended. At $150 for 2oz, that is an important distinction to make. The person who will get the most out of this mask has a very pared down skincare routine and wears little to no makeup, so that its effect is not overshadowed. Three stars because this is a lovely product but for a very specific consumer.

I am a sucker for a hydrating mask and this is no exception. I love using this mask because it feels and smells like a spa. It hydrates without causing congestion with your skin. I am very acne prone and this has not given me any issues.
