Similac Soy Isomil® Infant Formula
We switched my son from Nutramigen to this soy formula as he got older - 9 months. He no longer needed the predigested but still concerned about the milk allergy. It’s much cheaper and affordable. It taste and smells better too. My son enjoys this formula now and causes no issues with tummy either.
Purchased at: Walmart
My daughter has a lactose intolerance and reflux and this is the formula she has been on since leaving the hospital! I use the concentrate when I’m home with her and the ready to feed or powder when we are out! Affordable, doesn’t smell as bad as some of the other formulas and mixes easily!
I guess I used soy as a baby so I figured I would try it with my daughter and it caused her to be gassy and she kept spitting up. Not very impressed with this one. Still prices are very expensive when it comes to similac products. Not satisfied with this one.
We switched to this formula from another milk-based formula option that was causing a ton of spot up. This Soy Isomil has been amazing for keeping the spit up down! My family and I love it & will definitely repurchase!
Currently using this formula and have been for almost 10 months. Works great for milk allergies and colic. Can cause constipation, but I mixed it with Hypoallergenic formula as well.
Similac soy has been a life saver for my 5 month old. We tried so many things when coming home from the hospital that failed us. Then we found soy and it’s like we have a whole new baby. The price was great compared to some other formulas. This will be the only thing I feed my son until it’s time for real milk. Thank you Similac
This saved my little girls belly issues. We tried to breast feed but things did but not go according to plan. We switched to formula and she had terrible gas problems and spitting up ounces of milk after feedings. We tried sensitive and we were still having the same issues. We decided to try soy and she has not spit up since. The smell is terrible. However I think that is only a small negative when I can see how much happier my baby is while drinking this formula compared to others.
Since i moved to texas from California (its only been 4 months) the wic here only supports similac but in California wic used enfamil so the soy similac was the only one my son could use othere then that he couldn’t hold a bottle down so I really recommend to try this if you’re baby is having a hard time with regular formula
