Similac Sensitive Powder Formula - 23.2 oz
Ever since my baby was born he rejected Enfamil and Enfamil gentlease I was a new mom didn't know much so I would feed him similac advance and he would cry he would be gassy and fussy after day 3 changed him to senstive similac and such a difference my baby loves it it's all he drinks no more colics at night it's gentle on his tummy and allows him to disgeste it right
This was the 3rd formula we tried for our daughter and we were very excited when she responded well to it. She was experiencing constipation with other formulas and while this one does not claim to help with constipation it did in our situation. I can also find it on sale at Target pretty frequently and if you subscribe to their mailing list you'll receive lots of coupons.
This formula really does help with gas. Baby still gets the toots sometimes, but not nearly as often - spits up less too! The only thing I don't like is the foil seal on the inside. It doesn't come off in once piece and is difficult to peel out. I'm constantly worried about little bits of foil getting into the formula.
This was great for my son who was allergic or sensitive to every type of formula. i bought it at costco in a great big size and saved a ton of money. he was able to drink this and be happy with no tummy issues, thank goodness for this product.
Both of my babies ended up on this formula. My son was super colicky, which finally went away once he started this stuff. And my daughter suffered from constant diarrhea and spitting up until we started her on this. Then she was all better.
My newborn was orginally put on similac advance complete nutrition when he was first born to help gain wait but it was to hard on his stomach. I then switched to Similac sensitive and it has worked wonders! It mixes great with breastmilk so that they're stomach doesn't get upset. I highly recommend this brand for babies with sensitive tummies.
I started off breast feeding and ended up stopping after 4 weeks. This was the only brand and type that my son was able to drink. I tried to go to just regular Similac and the generic versions. Both made him throw up every time. This is not at the most reasonable price but they do send out some coupons that help.
Out of all the formulas I have tried on my son this has been one of my least favorite. It foamed something serious and half the time we couldn't tell if he was getting formula or air. After we finished the container we switched because we were not impressed with this particular formula at all.
My two kiddos have used this product and it was by far the gentlest on their tummies. We tried the other similac products but this was even better for our daughter who has gastric problems then the similac that combats spit up.
This was the formula I used for my baby girl until she was 6 months. She had horrible stomach troubles when we tried to give her regular formula and she rejected other sensitive stomach brands. She is now using the the regular formula to get her ready for cows milk when she turns 1.
Q & A
Hi I'm breastfeeding but I want to star giving her formula she has colics so I want to know if this one is good to start ? And also if the baby's get constipated with this formula ? With My other baby has a bad experience with other formula he alway was constipated .. it really work for gassy an fussiness?
I have been switching my 8 month old from breastmilk to formula slowly (mixing a few ounces of formula with the breastmilk) so that he doesn't have too many tummy issues. However he has been having boughts of constipation and screams sometimes when he poops. So my question is, is there a specific formula that would be better suited so he doesn't have tummy / constipation problems?
How good is this formula compared to enfamil?
