Similac Sensitive Powder Formula - 23.2 oz
My little guy was born with lactose sensitivity. He was exclusively breastfed until we had supply issues. Because we had a great experience with similac with my daughter, we were happy when the doctor recommended similac for our sons supplementing. After a few doctor visits, he switched to sensitive and from that point on we had no further issues. We even bought the toddler formula for him because it worked so well.
Ever since my baby was born he rejected Enfamil and Enfamil gentlease I was a new mom didn't know much so I would feed him similac advance and he would cry he would be gassy and fussy after day 3 changed him to senstive similac and such a difference my baby loves it it's all he drinks no more colics at night it's gentle on his tummy and allows him to disgeste it right
I honestly believe this brand or formula is no better then the cheaper ones. After all, they are required to pass the same standards. It's only expensive because it is mane brand and formula feeding is on the rise. Contrary to popular belief, it's not the same thing as breast milk and not every baby needs to be suplimented. Formula companies do try to get you to switch to their products.
This formula really does help with gas. Baby still gets the toots sometimes, but not nearly as often - spits up less too! The only thing I don't like is the foil seal on the inside. It doesn't come off in once piece and is difficult to peel out. I'm constantly worried about little bits of foil getting into the formula.
This was the 3rd formula we tried for our daughter and we were very excited when she responded well to it. She was experiencing constipation with other formulas and while this one does not claim to help with constipation it did in our situation. I can also find it on sale at Target pretty frequently and if you subscribe to their mailing list you'll receive lots of coupons.
This was great for my son who was allergic or sensitive to every type of formula. i bought it at costco in a great big size and saved a ton of money. he was able to drink this and be happy with no tummy issues, thank goodness for this product.
This formula was a life saver when I was unable to breastfeed due to tummy issues with my baby. Thus has helped her so much with her gas and spitting up. She is healthy growing and meeting all of her milestones. This is the only kind of formula that we buy.
For the longest time, this was our go to formula. We liked the brand, plus they sent checks to make the formula more affordable. The one thing I don't like about the Similac Sensitive brand, is that it foams up. My baby who needs the sensitive version, doe not need those bubbles in his system. Hopefully Similac can figure out a way to eliminate the bubbles.
This product was a life saver for my little one. He had tons of tummy issues when he was born and it took going through several different formulas to find the right one that wouldn't upset his tummy. Then we found this product and all our problems we solved. he no longer spit up or cried due to gas issues.
My newborn was orginally put on similac advance complete nutrition when he was first born to help gain wait but it was to hard on his stomach. I then switched to Similac sensitive and it has worked wonders! It mixes great with breastmilk so that they're stomach doesn't get upset. I highly recommend this brand for babies with sensitive tummies.
Q & A
Hi I'm breastfeeding but I want to star giving her formula she has colics so I want to know if this one is good to start ? And also if the baby's get constipated with this formula ? With My other baby has a bad experience with other formula he alway was constipated .. it really work for gassy an fussiness?
I have been switching my 8 month old from breastmilk to formula slowly (mixing a few ounces of formula with the breastmilk) so that he doesn't have too many tummy issues. However he has been having boughts of constipation and screams sometimes when he poops. So my question is, is there a specific formula that would be better suited so he doesn't have tummy / constipation problems?
How good is this formula compared to enfamil?
