Similac® NeoSure® Formula For Premature Babies
- "Easy to blend for different calorie counts, great base for him and an easy transition from breast milk.... highly recommend." in 1 review
This formula helped my first son so much it was amazing! With him being born prematurely he needed all the help possible to boost up his weight and it helped him a lot I would definitely buy this formula again if God forbid I have another premature baby. This is definitely a formula I would highly recommend to any parent of a premature baby
My daughter was a 28 weeker. We Similac® NeoSure® Formula For Premature Babies exclusively until she was a year old. She enjoyed the formula as well as breast milk. It gave her the building blocks that she needed. My daughter is now 2 years old and very healthy. Though this formula is a bit expensive it is absolutely the best thing I could have done for my little preemie
My baby was born premature at 32 weeks and the only formula he could drink was neosure due to other formulas being 20 calories. He needed this 22 calorie formula to grow and gain weight like he’s supposed to. I noticed and increase in his weight and believe this formula is very good
Love this! My son handles it very well with not reflux! He was born 28wks 5days spent 3 1/2 months in the nicu and was on neosure from around a months till now he is 11 months old. We have never had any problems at all!
This was the formula that my son was supplemented on and later fully switched to when he was born premature at 31 weeks. We were so grateful to have this, and it really helped with his growth and he’s such a strong little man now!! If you’re having any doubts and You’re milk supply isn’t strong, your premie will be fine on neosure!
My son was born at 34 weeks 4 pounds 10 ounces. And was in the nicu this is what he got to fortify my breast milk for every feeding. Its helped triple his weight and is currently 4 months. His body took it so well, no constipation for a premature little body like they say other formulas do.
I would normally buy this at Walmart. When my daughter was first born she weighed 5 pounds 8 ounces. Her pediatrician said she needed to gain some weight and suggested NeoSure. It was easy on my baby’s stomach and made her gain a healthy amount of weight
My daughter was born 6 weeks early, 2 weeks premature and spent 19 days in the nicu. My milk had not come in and they were giving her neosure and she FINALLY stasrted to gain weight to leave!
So glad my son doesn’t have to drink this anymore ! My baby was born early at 33 weeks and although he took breast milk I had to supplement him with this for 3 months ! The only good thing was this helped him become a healthy weight . Other then that I hated it he would constantly throw up and be extremely gassy for hours after eating it . I know every baby is different though and your baby could tolerate it very well and the most important thing is it’s extra calories so they gain those crucial pounds.
My princess was born 2 1/2 months premature 12/16. A long with many of concerns associated with premature birth, weight gain, sustaining weight, feeding well and holding feedings down are some of the very crucial things doctors and nurses want to see from a preemie. Preemies have very delicate stomachs and of course doctors always encourage breastfeeding, but not everyone can or they cannot produce enough. In my case they began fortifying my breast milk with the formula to provide more calories to my baby. I feel Neosure was very gentle on my baby's tummy and has helped her not only gain weight and sustain the weight while also helping in her development. At 8 months she is still on it and while being introduced to baby foods and some semi solids. She is "growing like a weed" as the doctor says. I would definitely recommend this formula for all preemies!
