To not serve this dish on New Year's is to invite bad luck for the coming year! We serve it with mashed potatoes, bratwurst, and hot dogs. Whether you eat the sauerkraut on top of the potatoes, served side by side, or on the Brats and hot dogs, it's one of our favorite traditions.
