These silkies hair scrunchies are not for medium or thick hair at all they are not strong enough. The silk is nice for not damaging your hair but no strength to keep in a pony. If it's too hold the bottom of a braid, it would do fine, just not a high pony.

These scrunchies are super cute to use. I really liked using them but there was a slight problem. My hair is super curly so it was a bit difficult to take off after having a ponytail on. These scrunches would be awesome for thick hair because they’re so stretchy even though they’re a thin style scrunchie! They feel pretty secure in my thinner, fine hair. And they’re super soft.
