I started using Silagen Day Silicone Gel with SPF during my recovery from facial cosmetic surgery, when protecting healed sutures was really important, along my eyelids and my other facial scars - and it quickly became part of my daily routine. It goes on smoothly, feels lightweight, and doesn’t feel heavy or occlusive the way some silicone products can. I purchased the two pack and will post a review for the ‘night’ gel as well, that does Not include SPF. What I appreciated most was how easy it was to use during the day. It helped keep my scars hydrated and protected while also giving me peace of mind with sun protection, especially when my skin was still very delicate. It layered well under makeup and never caused irritation or sensitivity. About 2 days in, I immediately saw a visible difference with the softness and color of my scars. With continued use, I have no doubt that this product will help my scars become almost invisible. And with the SPF, I can be sure that my scars won’t hyperpigment when I have to go out in the sun (along with wearing my sunglasses and a hat).

I've been using this product for a year and I really love it. The product has been available for purchase in the doctor's office. I fell on my knees and seriously injured myself, leaving a dark scar.
