I started using Silagen Night Silicone Gel as part of my evening routine during recovery from facial & eyelid cosmetic surgery, once my incisions were ready for scar care, and it’s been incredibly easy to use. The texture is smooth and comfortable, and it stays in place overnight without feeling heavy or greasy. I like that it works while I sleep, when skin is naturally in repair mode. It never irritated my skin and felt very gentle, even on areas that were still sensitive. In the morning, my scars felt more hydrated and comfortable, which made staying consistent with scar care much easier. I purchased the two pack and will post a review for the ‘day’ gel as well, that includes SPF. About 2 days in, I immediately saw a visible difference with the softness and color of my scars. With continued use, I have no doubt that this product will help my scars become almost invisible.

I recently had a 360 body lift and thigh lift. My plastic surgeon sells Silagen and had my use it after surgery. The results are amazing with the huge scars I have I was worried how they’d look. But this product has helped so much and I’m only 6 weeks post op. It’s definitely something you have to have after surgery.

I’ve been using this for about 2 1/2 months since my repair surgery for my basal cell carcinoma. They went about 1 1/2 inches deep. It goes on smooth and not oily or greasy. The only gripe that I have is that it tipped over on the counter and the little spout/pump broke right off. It’s pretty fragile… and now I can’t use it. ;( it wasn’t inexpensive, so that’s kind of a bummer .
