It's contaminated. That's what pint-sized Bo (Abigail Breslin) says about every glass of water that she tries to drink, then rejects. This is just one in a long list of strange occurrences that are changing the lives of the Hess family. Things go awry when Graham Hess (Mel Gibson) and his brother, Merrill (Joaquin Phoenix), awake early one morning to find the dogs barking and the children-Bo, and her brother Morgan (Rory Culkin)-wandering bleary eyed in the corn fields. They discover a pattern of perfectly carved crop circles left the night before. Trying not to overreact, Graham ignores the media frenzy that has permeated all television and radio stations, and even shrugs off the oddly familiar information that Morgan reads in his book about extraterrestrials invading earth. The real challenge for Graham is to find the faith he needs to pull himself, and his family, through this unexplainable series of events. SIGNS is the long-anticipated film from writer-director M. Night Shyamalan (THE SIXTH SENSE, UNBREAKABLE), a suspenseful and uniquely chilling family story.

Say what you will about Mel Gibson but he's such a phenomenal actor. This story goes a little bit deeper than just the Classic twist. Yeah it's got aliens in it but if you are a person of faith it makes you think a little. Joaquin Phoenix is such an amazing actor and the little girl in this movie is adorable. And it's better than most Alien movies because it's directed in such a way that makes you so nervous you don't know if Up Is Down and left is right. The plot is perfect and I've never seen an alien movie like this. But like I said it's more than just an alien movie. Also I couldn't sleep for a week after watching it and now I always leave a glass of water around just in case.

This movie is decent however some of the scenes with the ALIENS leave you questioning what in the f*** was the writers and directors thinking. if these ALIENS are so strong and powerful, how come they can't get past a door? hmmmmm one of the biggest questions this movie will leave you with. seriously watch this movie its a decent film and maybe you can answer the door question.

LOVE this movie! On the cover you can see that this film has a great cast. The story is wonderful and the score is as well. My favorite scene is when we find Merrill Hess in the closet watching the TV. It is a science fiction thriller and it may be too much for some people, but the great underlying story is truly what makes this movie great to me.
