The beginning. A classic. Our most popular beer.
Pale Ale began as a home brewer’s dream, grew into an icon, and inspired countless brewers to follow a passion of their own. Its unique piney and grapefruit aromas from the use of whole-cone American hops have fascinated beer drinkers for decades and made this beer a classic, yet it remains new, complex and surprising to thousands of beer drinkers every day. It is—as it always has been—all natural, bottle conditioned and refreshingly bold.see more...

Not my favorite beer from Sierra Nevada just because the bite reminds me of an IPA, which I do not prefer. I prefer Sidecar from Sierra Nevada. This is an affordable beer and it’s manufactured in my hometown!
This is my go-to beer. The pale ale has just the right amount of hops and bitterness that it satisfies my preference for a hoppy beer, but it's still an easy drinking beer. I'd definitely recommend this beer!
This stuff isn't too bad! It is s light beer which sometimes I do like to have. It is affordable just like all the other beers. It has a nice light pale ale taste
This is a great standard IPA for any beer lover. I think Sierra Nevada is decently priced. I usually buy the bottled beers, and you can find it in pretty much any grocery store.
Sierra Nevada makes good beer regardless of which one. This one has a hint of hops, not too much. But is a great beer for people who are starting to like hops but do not want to be overpowered by the hops.
Not a favorite due to the hops but it’s a great beer! The price is steep but still comparable to other imports. It leaves you with a very earthy after taste that I don’t love- I will continue to recommend
Don’t get me wrong, I’ll drink Sierra Nevada if it’s around, but if there’s another craft beer I’ll go for it first. This in particular is just too bland. There is nothing special about it to pull me in.
I have never been a huge fan of Sierra Nevada's beers. The pale ale was the first one that I tried and it was pretty underwhelming. I consider Sierra Nevada to be one of the breweries that kicked off the craft beer revolution, they have been surpassed by many others and still have a lot of work to do to before they can regain my attention.
Such a bitter taste and definitely not a favorite of mine. Would not repurchase. Usually had this from someone else, gave a few tries, but just could not bring myself to enjoy it.
A great beer for a hot day! It is a good treat to enjoy for sure! I sometimes forget to try this but when I see it and taste it, I remember how great it is. A great value beer also. Definitely will purchase it again.
