My Shun knives were the best thing I've ever spent money on. They got me back into cooking after being bored, frustrated and tired after my divorce. These knives are well weighted, sharp (if you care for them properly), and have a wonderful feel as your slicing.

The sharpest knife I have ever worked with and has a lot of utility around the kitchen. I make sure to use bamboo cutting boards with this knife since it can easily chip on hard surfaces, especially after someone used a wheel to sharpen it. :( It should be fine once I find someone that will use a waterstone to fix it.

Great knife. Extremely sharp. Folded steel and expensive. I use my parents and cutting is an easy task with all products.
