Product Description

Brand from Japan: Shu Uemura. The easy to manage form of gel effectively melts and transforms into oil during application. The melted oil then captures impurities and stubborn, heavy make-up, and alters into quick-rinsing milk in contact with water, thoroughly and effortlessly removing all unnecessary material, just like other cleansing oils. The transformation of gel into oil enables an easy-to-manage use experience, yet skin is thoroughly purified with a comfortable gentleness. Enwrapping skin with comfort just like cleansing oils. Suitable for all skin types. Pack Size - 150ml see more...

I received a few cleansing oil samples at the Shu Uemura store in Hong Kong while shopping for makeup. I like this oil GEL (yellow bottle) more than the skin refining cleansing oil (green bottle...which I also liked). It dissolves makeup nicely and easy to rinse off. I just prefer the gel formula, especially for the eye area.

Got this as a sample and found that it's not great at removing whole face makeup. It's really just mediocre compared to their infamous cleansing oils. It doesn't remove all your makeup in one go and leaves a film behind. They advertise this as something that people who are too scared to use cleansing oils to try first, kinda like a first step so they can ease into using their cleansing oils. Honestly their cleansing oils are SO BOMB at removing all your makeup I think people should just skip this and try the cleansing oils instead.
