I've been enjoying the Shu Uemura Izumi Tonic Thickening Serum because it makes my hair feel softer, smoother, and healthier without feeling greasy or heavy. My hair is thin and dry on the ends, and this helped add a fuller look while keeping my hair lightweight. I also noticed less frizz and better shine after styling. The texture absorbs nicely and does not leave buildup my scalp or hair. The scent is clean and subtle, which I liked because it was not overpowering. After consistent use, my hair felt stronger and looked less flat overall. I think this works especially well for fragile or thinning hair that still needs moisture.

I received this product complimentary and for review purposes. I loved how it detangled and strengthened my fine hair, plus the smell is amazing. However, the product is not cruelty free and it is quite expensive. For these reasons I will not be purchasing it. Hopefully they will change their testing practices one day.
