I’ve been using Shiseido Zen for a while now, and it’s a beautiful fragrance that lives up to its name. It starts with a very refreshing, sparkling citrus and floral opening that instantly lifts my mood and makes me feel "centered" and ready for the day. The dry down is my favorite part—it’s a sophisticated mix of amber and wood that feels very clean and high-end. It’s the perfect "office-safe" or daily scent because it’s elegant and never overpowering. The bottle design with the wooden cap is also a gorgeous, minimalist addition to my vanity. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish the projection was just a little bit stronger. While it lasts a decent amount of time on my skin, it becomes a skin scent quite quickly. I find myself needing to reapply if I want the fragrance to stay noticeable throughout a long evening. Overall, it’s a stunning, calming fragrance for anyone who prefers a subtle, sophisticated aura over a heavy perfume!
