Shiseido Ibuki Quick Fix Mist
- "This product is at such a great price! I use this after cleansing for extra moisturizing and throughout the day for a burst of hydration. Works really well at keeping shininess away and is lightweight and very refreshing. Smells really good too!

I bought this product for $28 at sephora. This product claims to refresh your makeup through the the day. I would never use this product on my face after my makeup is on because the sprayer spits the product on your face more than anything. It's defiantly not a mist, is more like an uneven shower. So I have been using this to refresh and add moisture to my fave before makeup application, or on days that I am not wear makeup at all. It smells good but I don't know if it adds that much moisture to my face. I won't repurchase it after I run out. [product:shiseido-ibuki-quick-fix-mist-1.6-oz]
I like this mist, but I do not like the spray nozzle or the fragrance. The spray goes on a bit patchy and there isn't a fine mist. Besides that, the product works average/well and I'm about halfway through my bottle. I won't repurchase this because there are other sprays that have better mists and formulations.
It’s an ok refreshing spray for on the go and it smells great but it’s not the best toner. I think this is more of a “princess” product since I don’t see any of the benefits. It’s a little pricey for what it is so I prob won’t be repurchasing.
I love facial mists, but this one by Shiseido was really disappointing. You can't tell from the photos, but it actually isnt a full cylindrical bottle. The bottle is more like they cut it in half lengthwise so it feels like you get less product from the get-go for the price. Secondly, the packaging is just cheap plastic for the cap and the bottle which is disappointing because Shiseido is usually more luxurious as a brand. The next issue is this strong hair gel or hairspray sort of smell to it which is unappealing. The texture of the liquid is a thicker gel-like mist which does feel hydrating, but it wont do anything to hold your makeup in place or control oil. The mister on this is not sufficient for the thick product inside and it kind of gets everywhere as a sticky mess. Overall, this product was disappointing on so many levels and not one i would purchase again.
This product is a very lovely refreshing spray. It can be used to moisten makeup after application for a skin like effect, but it's. To a powerful setting spray. I also don't find it to be effective at priming. It smells just heavenly, and the packaging is pretty slick. It's got one flat side to help make it more portable in a handbag. I'm not sure if I'll return mine. I have mixed feelings based on performance. Everyone else seems to love it. I want to know their secret as to how they use it.
Love this! I use it before and after applying my makeup! Really helps keep my makeup in place and I see a difference in how oily my face gets. On really hot days my face tends to get so oily I can't wear makeup, it just doesn't work. With this I do a liberal spray to my face and then apply my makeup like normal.
I love facial mists. I'm always interested in trying new products. Shiseido IBUKI Mist is literally a game changer. It keeps your face consistently hydrated, dew and youthful looking. It also fights shine which is a huge issue I have. A few quick sprays and your dewy and beautiful! It's the BEST face mist I've used and it's the perfect transitional product from winter to spring.
I AM OBSESSED with this. It's honestly probably my favorite setting and refreshing mist EVER. It gives me such a natural and dewy glow. And when I say dewy, I mean hydrated-looking. Not oily-looking. The subtle fragrance is really nice. The packaging is perfect for travel or your medicine cabinet.
Q & A
Is it good to use for dry or sensitive skin?
Is this like a setting spray?
I loves to try. Where I can buy it? Thanks
This sounds like a great product, I have dry skin. Does this product keep you hydrated for a long time?
I'm curious about this... It seems amazing however from reading the ingredient list, it does contain alcohol. Is it very drying or harsh for sensitive skin types? If not, would you recommend for dry combo skin or is it a pass...Thank you!
