I am a current shaw internet costumer and HATE my service, I had cable and Internet for 2 years and I finally canceled my cable last month because half the time my cable was pixels and would freeze for a half an hour at a time. My internet is just as bad
I have not tried this but heard some complaints about it and inhappy with time warner cable

Honestly if I had the option to switch to a more affordable provider I would. Unfortunately in my region (and Canada in general) there are not many options. I'm constantly losing connection and it's very clear that they don't monitor the amount of users as I pay for a higher speed but constantly am battling lag.
I wish there was better competition and selection for Internet service providers. The customer service is lousy (individual agents have been excellent but their hands are tied by a company that doesn't give them the ability to solve issues) and the service is spotty. My neighbourhood is neither brand new nor very old and yet my internet is spotty. And if we're in our bonus room it's nonexistent.
I have been with shaw for a while now and i am very disappointed with their internet. it always disconnects randomly and i always have to go and restart it often throughout the day. i have called them multiple times and say that they have "fixed" it from their side but the problem still occurs even after they have "fixed" it.
Normally our Shaw Internet is ok however, often we have trouble connecting. It seems every time they do an upgrade, things go wrong with the service. For the price, it is very disappointing. When we call their help line, the reps seem to be reading a script and don't seem to know how to fix the problems. I can't recommend.
Drops when I'm in the basement or even on the other side of the house, I find it expensive for what I'm getting and I'm definitely looking at switching company's
I've been with Shaw for several years and had minimal problems, however recently I always have problems connecting to my WiFi, as well as the Shaw hot spots.
Slow and gets slower add time goes by. The customer service line always busy and on hold.
