I have had this vacuum for over 2 years and it’s still going strong. I have 2 kids and a dog and this keeps up. I do empty it every room but don’t mind. I haven’t had to cut my hair out of the bottom once. I vacuum everyday and I do recommend cleaning the filter with blue dawn and air dry atleast once a week to help maintain it.

This is my 3rd Shark Vacuum and I love it! I did take off one star because of the design of the vacuum it doesn’t stand up on its own I Lean it up against something to keep it standing upright. Other than that the suction power is very strong, it picks up everything in its way! I have two long haired Himalayan cats and a daughter who has super long hair that goes everywhere! This vacuum sucks every single hair/crumb/ dirt right up , it also does a great job at keeping my wood and other hard floors clean such as the bathrooms which is where my daughter brushes her hair & she has had long dark hair since she was born. Literally! This vacuum is pretty lightweight so it is easy to carry around, up and down stairs etc. I definitely recommend trying a shark vacuum if you’re given a chance in my opinion they’re just as good if not better than Dyson vacuum’s.

This is so easy to use, it is perfect for my kids. I can even take out the longer attachment and make it small enough for my littlest kid to use easily. I love that it has both hardwood and carpet functions. The canister is a little small, but empties easily. It still takes care of all the dog hair from the three large dogs that I have, and it is easy to do so.
