My son is 5 , non verbal and autistic. A lot of how he handles things in this own world involves him stimming. Stimming is anywhere from hand flaps, spinning, to hands in his mouth or other objects in his mouth. These chewie necklaces are so great to keep him from sticking random things in his mouth or biting his own fingers. Only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because the string area always breaks from being to narrow.
