I've used this shampoo on my adult pitbull and pitbull puppy and it seems to work pretty well at getting rid of fleas (although it does usually take at least 2 baths). I'm not sure it's that great at keeping ticks away because my dogs still seem to get them, but we do live next to a woods so that may be the reason. The smell is decent, but my dogs have sensitive skin and they get really itchy after we bathe them with this. I think I may try to find a gentler shampoo and just use a behind the ear flea and tick treatment/prevention.
