- "It's a very easy tool to establish in your hair and takes no longer than 5minutes but I prefer the donut on the end of the tool you have to use a bobby pins so the back doesn't show the tool in your hair " in 1 review
This product is super easy to use!!! I have very thick hair and this made a very nice bun. I wouldn't use this if you plan on dancing or doing anything of the sort.
Let me begin by saying I had tried a generic of this same hair tool. It resulted in mediocre to poor results. I then received this product through Birchbox. On the plus side, the SARAHPOTEMPA tool was constructed of better materials and was overall better made. However, in the end, the brand name was unable to deliver results. First off, the slit to pull hair through is very tight. But more importantly, I don't think this tool is meant for those with thin hair. As someone who is very adept at doing complicated updos/braids on my own hair, I found it ironic that this specially made tool could not achieve what I could do sans tool. Maybe this work better for those with thicker hair.
I have to wear my hair in a low bun for work everyday, and I work 6 days a week so I need something easy to put my hair up. I was looking for something different than my old sock bun I have been using for months, so I tried this. No go. I didn't even get out the door without my hair falling down, or feeling loose. I feel like it doesn't hold my hair in place for a long period of time, and I feel like I wasted money on something I can open my dresser drawer and find... I do NOT recommend buying this product, just use a sock bun.
