I always get excited when there’s a seasonal beer drop. This one reminds me of a beer I get at my local brewery on tap and it actually tastes quite fresh. I think you get a different quality of beer when its a seasonal release. Only downside on this is that I’m not getting any tasting notes that remind me quite of winter. Otherwise, it’s a great beer and relatively easy to find in store!

I eagerly await this seasonal Samuel Adams winter lager every year. It has a smooth refreshing taste with a hint of cinnamon, ginger and orange peel. It has a distinct crisp flavor that is enjoyable around the holidays. Compared to other seasonal winter beers, this is my favorite and look forward to it each year. The packaging this winter was modern & new yet Samuel Adams continued with their classic font & size.
