Sam Adams has one of the best Octoberfest Beers out there in my opinion for such a large brewery. It is really good and I can't wait for it to come out every year. I usually drink it out to dinner from a draft and I think that's how it tastes the best to me.
This beer is YUMMY. It’s a little heavy but not too heavy. The right amount for fall. The flavor is great, it’s perfect for a fall night. I can’t have too many of these or I get full fast. For the price point and flavor it’s a good purchase. A little pricier than normal but it is a seasonal ale.
I hate this beer. It tastes awful to me and I love fall anything. It’s too strong and very bitter. I don’t like it and I don’t recommend it to anyone. I tried it on a few occasions and it was terrible all times. It’s also expensive af, so yeah...
This is probably my favorite seasonal beer of all time. It's not too heavy on a pumpkin or spice flavor, but definitely has a smooth taste that pairs well with cooler days and changing colors of the leaves. I'm always excited when I see it on the shelf for the first time each year - it singles the change of the seasons for me.
This is a great Octoberfest beer! It's definitely one of my faves. It's super flavorful and just a great quality beer that tends to be on the cheaper side! However, it IS a seasonal beer so it is usually only found between September and early December.
Such a great beer with all things autumn on the design of the bottle. When you crack open a cold one, your not only enjoy the action but the smell and test it leaves in your senses. This beer screems Halloween and golden multicolored leaves. The taste is crisp and refreshing with a little hit of pumpkin as an after taste. If you like other Samuel Adam flavors, you will surely love this one.
Honestly, I'm not someone who drinks beer on the regular. I prefer wine or a mixed beverage over beer ANY day... but, when in certain company at certain events, campfires, cookouts, ball games, etc. A beer just fits right in... and I love Sam Adams!
Wait for this beer every year! Wish it was always available as it is my absolute favorite. Never disappoints. Price is reasonable for a good lager. It is the best of the Octoberfest beers. Sam Adams for life. I am definitely satisfied.
Depends on what you mean by economical. I think it might be a buck or two more expensive than your standard Bud or Bud Light twelve pack. (At least in NY). Even though it is a seasonal beer, it still is Sam Adams, so it's not as expensive as a microbrew or specialty beers. All that said, it's yummy, so definitely worth a try.
