The Maximum Growth clear nail treatment works by adhering to your nails & hardening up. You apply a coat onto your clean bare nails (I like to use mine as a base coat under my nail polish colors.) My nails have always been extremely thin, flimsy and see through. The edges of my nails never fail to double nail. The areas that still have the max growth on them continue to stay nice and hard. My only complaint about this product is areas that have chipped (or peeled off due double nail-ing.) Like I said—when it chips off or when my nail decides to start peeling up or the sally hardener is removed—my nails are back to their thin, flimsy selves. When I was a little girl, I thought this formula made them thicker, harder & stronger from the inside-out. But now that I am an adult, that would be some form of magic, ha!

I have been using this product for years! I like that its not clear but pinkish giving more natural color to your nails. It provides strength to your nails and it lasts for days!
