Has a strong chemical smell and does not give lots of volume. Is okay for slick back or hairstyles that need hold but overall not a very good mouse . I would not recommend.

I was looking for an alternative to the hair mousse I ran out of and purchased Rusk Mousse at a discount store. What a mistake it was! After shaking the can as the directions indicated, I put an egg-sized dollop into my palm and was immediately turned off by the scent. It has a chemical, artificial smell that is not pleasant at all. No scent would be better. I applied the mousse to my towel-dried hair at the roots for volume. Using a blow dryer and round brush on my wavy hair, I did not see any improvement in volume, lift, hold or texture. In fact, I felt the mousse actually made my hair feel greasy at the roots. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

This mouse is absolutely perfect for slick back looks which I do often as a server because I need my hair up and it doesn’t get hard like most gels do
