5 stars is not enough!!! Took my family on a cruise before my son left for basic training in the army. We did the 4 day cruise to Baja Mexico. It was a blast. My 17 year old loves being able to explore by himself and grab food and drinks without paying. My 16 year old loved the all you can eat food and the fun things to do and exploring Catalina Island and Baja Mexico. My 4 year old had a blast he was like a wild child. Everyone that worked was so nice and helpful. The ship was clean and well maintained. We can't wait to go again.
I enjoyed carnival cruise line SO much! it was my first time going on a cruise and they made my experience the best. My family and I went on a week long cruise during thanksgiving week! The crew members on the ship had fun activities for us the entire time there. During the day we would party, drink, hangout at the pool, play fun games and interacted with ppl on the ship and at night there was always a movie night, comedy show or some form of entertainment. The food of the ship was amazing all you can eat and great desserts. What I can say is that being on a cruise for that long got tiring, became a little redundant and by the 4th day I was ready to be off!
We took our first cruise with Royal Caribbean for our honeymoon in summer 2015. The complimentary champagne was a lovely surprise. Our storeroom attendant did a wonderful job. We booked one excursion through the cruise excursion desk and enjoyed the kayaking and snorkeling a lot. The adults pool was a bit crowded during the day but we had no problem getting a hot tub to ourselves during the late dinner hour. We went to a few onboard shows and enjoyed them, especially the ice skating show. The only thing I would have changed was our assigned dinner seating, as we were seated with guests who did not speak English, so meals were a little lonely.
Although this was quite some time ago, I have been dying to get back on a Royal Caribbean cruise. The staff was amazing, the food was even better, but they honestly just generally knew how to treat you to make you feel luxurious, no matter who you were. I still remember my waiter's name, and he was really good about making dinner something to always look forward to. At the time I was underage, but If I get the chance go again, I'd love to check out all of the adult amenities!
This is a amazing ship! On the ship there is so much to do. The rooms are decent and the food amazing! I loved the stops they made at the different places. So much fun!
We are avid travelers and cruise every chance we can get. That being said my family and I are somewhat cruise snobs. We chose to travel with Royal Caribbean under the recommendation of friends. That particular cruise was the first and only time we will ever vacation with Royal Caribbean. The rooms were outdated and poorly cleaned. The food was subpar. The staff was horrible. There was a particular convention on board which we were not privvied to when booking our vacation. This particular group stayed openly drunk and half naked the entire trip. Their PDA was more than X rated. I was horrified and we did not leave our cabin much as we could not subject our children to such behavior. We were not refunded our money and made to feel stupid when we complained. BEWARE of ROYAL CARIBBEAN. Take my advice and use another cruise line.
We sailed in a 7 day Western Caribbean cruise with Royal Caribbean on Majesty of the Seas. What a great time! So many activities to do on the ship alone. There is a night club we're we met friends and a pool and hot tub when you just want to relax. My cousin and I took yoga classes and utilized the running track that overlooks the ocean. Great stops along the way to explore and shop. If you love to travel and meet new people, a cruise is definitely the way to go!
Horrible experience. Food was god awful, there wasnt much, The resutaunts were all booked and they made you make reservations MONTHS before your trip...how could i possibly know when ill be hungry? Ridiculous! All nightlife was over by about 11 or 12, bars shut down, you basically had no choice but to go to bed. No night life for 3o somethings on this ship, terrible terrible terrible! Pool side was a BORE! no djs not party music no contests or games, no no no
My husband proposed to me on our first Royal Caribbean cruise. It was a fantastic cruise with so many available upgrades. We purchased a beverage package and ate at all the premium restaurants. We saw all the shows and took shore excursions. The ship we went on was the largest cruise ship in the world at the time. We loved it and had a fantastic time. Highly recommended. The only thing we didn't like was they add an ingredient to their water that causes you to retain water in your ankles. Try to avoid ice in beverages, frozen beverages, and drinking any water other than bottled.
My Caribbean trip is one of my most fond memories! We travelled to Puerto Rico- St.Lucia- St.Maarten - Barbados- St.Thomas- Antigua in 11 days. My favorite thing about the trip was the food. We ate a 4 course meal every day, and the steaks was HUGE! There were many activities on board such as stand-up nights and even ice skating. I highly recommend going with Royal Caribbean. I also loved the theme-nights: 70's, 50's, salsa, and so on. This will be an adventure of a lifetime for you and your family!
