This cruise line is great! Very nice customer service and a great time! This cruise line is more of an older crowd! If you're looking for a younger adult crowd I would cruise carnival! But I love this cruise line and have had wonderful experiences on their cruise ships!
We have cruised with royal three times. I do feel that the quality has gone down in the last several years but they are upgrading their ships with lots of family friendly amenities. Food is good and the facilities are nice. We sailed on the freedom class most recently and enjoyed the variety of activities. If you want to ice skate sign up early because the spots fill up.
First trip to the Bahamas need I say more. I will say the Bahamas was awesome. Some mishaps with the cruise line that never got ironed out so a little iffy when it comes to booking again but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it i guess. I'd recommend definitely but I'd suggest confirming everything and getting names of people you've spoken with in preparation for your trip.
every year i get to go on a cruise trip paid for by my company and normally we would go on the carnival but last year they wanted to take a nicer cruise so they chose the royal caribbean. while i will agree the boat is much much nicer, for my age demographic the carnival was a better fit and environment. I also felt the late night food selection was better on the carnival.
I'm not the biggest fan of cruises, I like destination traveling much better honestly. Royal Caribbean does a good job of keeping you entertained and well fed. One thing I don't like is they nickel and dime you on everything. So like I said cruising isn't my favorite.
im a crown and anchor member diamond level, this alone can tell you how much i love traveling with royal. they really make you feel like royalty, great prices, awesome service and delicious food and entertainment onboard. their private beaches really make you feel like you are on a solo vacation and their drink packages work on their private beaches so definitely get one!
We had a blast on this 5 day / 4 night cruise to the Caribbean and Mexico. The ship had great food, with good variety. However, the ship itself was a bit dilapidated, and was set to have the interior decor updated. The rooms were average, but well maintained. Service was wonderful and we had a lot of fun. We would cruise this line again, but mostly on a newer ship.
Recently went on the Alaskan cruise and it was a stunner! All of the excursions we chose were great, and the views could not be beat. Was disappointed that some of the on-ship offerings were not quite at the same level as previous cruises (evening buffets, shows, etc) but that may have been due to the nature of our location. I wouldn't cruise with anyone else!
We have been on 6 cruises now and finally tried Royal Caribbean. We have only ever been on Carnival Cruises and were impressed but now that we have cruised with Royal Caribbean we can never cruise with anyone else. The service we received was amazing, the food was amazing as well as the entertainment. We can't wait to take our daughter on a Royal Caribbean cruise now!
This was my first cruise ever and Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas set the bar pretty high! The sixteen-floor massive ship was a breeze to sail with. Any fear of sea sickness quickly disappeared after the first few days at sea. The food was overwhelmingly good at Dinner. The buffets were pretty decent and convenient as well. The service from staff was exceptional for the most part. There were a few things that I didn't completely love like: the lack of diversity of the guests and the watered-down juice in the buffets. Overall, the trip was great and I can't wait to plan my next cruise vacation....hopefully with a hefty discount!
