I love Royal Caribbean. They are so much. They have so many amenities on board for kids and the adults. We've been to amazing places while on board Royal Caribbean. It seems to be more of a laid back kind of cruise line. There's a lot of fun on board and off but it seems not as young (maybe). My husband and I are young and love to have fun but on board of Royal Caribbean it's just more quiet. I don't know how to explain it, there's doesn't seem to be as many kids as some of the other cruise lines we've been on. They're a lot of fun and we always have a great time but it's more for adults. When you're laying out by the pool, you don't have kids running around and jumping into the pool right next to you.
Took the explorer of the seas with my family on a 9 day cruise out of Bayonne NJ. Everyone had a fabulous time and can't wait to go on another cruise. There is always something to do for every age group. My husband and I took salsa dancing lessons, my daughter and I did jewelry making, my son played basketball , my younger twins made friends on board, went ice skating etc. The entertainment onboard was good quality. The food was good although I wouldn't say amazing. The buffets are so so. We booked our excursions on our own- cheaper and not hard to do. Overall a wonderful experience for all. Recommend book way in advance to get preferred cabin locations and cabins near each other.
Royal Caribbean is so wonderful! I have enjoyed my numerous cruises with them and always have a good time. They have great destinations and great food to eat along the way!
We loved our Royal Caribbean cruise. First, the food is amazing and endless. I probably gained 10 pounds that week. They have ice cream machines on the pool deck and kids love that! They had such a wide array of food items as well. From fancy, high-end dining options, to buffet style, family food. We had escargo and mac and cheese in the same week. They always had a show somewhere and entertainment was never hard to find. The excursions were my favorite part. We got to snorkel, take an amazing tour through a Mexican city, ride mules up a mountain, repel through the jungle and down a waterfall. It was AMAZING. I'd go back in a heartbeat.
I recently went on the Royal Carribean Allure of the Seas cruise and loved every minute of it! The staff was so nice, the ship was really clean, the food was amazing, and there was always something to do! There were shows everyday, fun contests, rock climbing, water parks, spas, casinos, night clubs, and so much more! The ship also docked at the most beautiful countries! I can't wait to book another cruise with Royal Carribean!
Royal Caribbean is the best cruise line out there hands down. They have amazing pricing, people to serve you on hand and foot every moment you're aboard, amazing quality rooms, amenities, and food. There are no rowdy people (on the ones I've been on) and they make everything easy! They have events and games and rooms are cleaned daily and you're left with a daily outline. You're also allowing two bottle of wine a room AND DINNER is amazing! 5 star quality means and servers and you can have all you want. Worth it!
Most recently we took a Caribbean cruise out of Puerto Rico on the Adventure of the Seas. The boat had recently undergone renovations to include a wave rider and water slides to name a few. The service was impeccable, and amenities were nice given the age of the ship. We had a 5 pm dinner assignment, but the Royal Caribbean assigned dining time is a strike against the cruise line for us. I much prefer the flexibility with dinning times offered by other companies. Good shows, plenty to do on the ship while at sea and incredibly friendly and attentive crew. I recommend joining the Crown and Anchor Society for all the little perks (some even given on your first cruise)!
I just got back from a Royal Caribbean cruise to the Bahamas. This is my second RC cruise boy has it changed! Granted my first cruise was about 10 years ago and in a much larger boat but I still remember vividly the plethora of activities, the awesome Coco Cay beaches and surreal shopping experience at Nassau. My trip last week had the same itinerary as the one I rode on 10 years ago but it was a real shocker at how much has change. CocoCay is starting to show its wear. Nassau shopping centers has really gotten quite dirty. Activities on the boat had awkward time gaps for activities.
Overall, an okay experience. I wasn't wowed but it was still enjoyable.

5 stars is not enough!!! Took my family on a cruise before my son left for basic training in the army. We did the 4 day cruise to Baja Mexico. It was a blast. My 17 year old loves being able to explore by himself and grab food and drinks without paying. My 16 year old loved the all you can eat food and the fun things to do and exploring Catalina Island and Baja Mexico. My 4 year old had a blast he was like a wild child. Everyone that worked was so nice and helpful. The ship was clean and well maintained. We can't wait to go again.
I recently took a seven day cruise on the Oasis of the Seas. This is the second cruise I have been on through Royal Caribbean. I love cruising with Royal Caribbean because the ports of call are beautiful (Haiti, Cozumel, and Jamaica), there is a variety of activities for everyone in my family (flo rider, pools, casinos, musicals, etc), and the rooms are comfortable and accommodating. The best part of cruising is the staff - they are always happy, friendly, helpful, and funny. My least favorite part about cruising is the food. It is hard to make food for thousands of people that won't upset stomachs and will appease a variety of palettes, so I understand.
