I have so far taken 5 cruises in the past 7-8 years and I love it! There's something to do for everyone. Not a dull moment while you're cruising and not a dull moment when you're out exploring. The staff is very courteous no matter where on the ship you are. That just makes the whole experience even better Even though it's a cruise, a lot of people make money through gratuity so make sure you tip where you normally would!
This cruise line is almost tied with Carnival. It has fun activities for the whole family, the food is great, and so is the staff. The excursions are absolutely wonderful and the ship layout is easy to travel. The only reason why Carnival beats out Royal to me is because of the price. Royal Caribbean is a little more pricey. I love getting dressed up on the cruise for the dinners and taking photos with my family.
for the first time in my life, I went on a cruise after swearing I'd never do so. but my bf and his family convinced me otherwise. it was an experience of a lifetime. and I'll definitely won't forget the warm staff that I met along the way! they truly made my first cruise something to remember.
Last spring I went on my first cruise. It was a western Caribbean itinerary on vision of the seas. We had a back balcony room, with an extremely spacious balcony. The public areas of the ship seemed very crowded, and there wasn't a whole lot to do on the ship. We did lots of excursions, which were the best part. The food was better than I expected, but the service was just ok, even though we were extra tippers!
I have been on other cruise lines, and Royal Caribbean is by far my favorite cruise line! The food is wonderful, the entertainment is amazing, and there is always something to do on board. My family and I go on a cruise every year, and we will not go on any other cruise line other than Royal.
Despite recent events, I love Royal Caribbean! Their street cried may be dropping, but as the first cruise line o ever cruised with, they empresses me and I can't wait to get back on. The service was beyond what I would even expect of anyone and the food was amazing! This is one worth trying.
Exquisite ships, there's almost too much to do. You'll never be bored. I loved the food. They are very kind, the excursions were overpriced and not very memorable. I had more fun on the ship. Everything was overpriced, and there was no room for anyone to sunbath by the pool. I'd still go back.
Lots of activities but not enough night life. Food is amazing and great quality and room service is very attentive and efficent. Royal is a great company is not for people who want to party. I went to Labadee, Ocho Rios, Cayman Islands, and Cozumel great sight seeing attractions and affordable.
You get what you pay for... I prefer other cruise lines over Royal Caribbean especially when traveling with my children, I've experienced too much over serving (so over drinking) on RC's cruises, plus some of the ports aren't super appealing. the Cruise itself is typically very enjoyable though.
I've went on 2 Royal Caribbean cruises and compared to other cruise lines I have been on they wouldn't be my number one choice. I had a great time and the weather was gorgeous but they need to fix some of their procedures in terms of entertainment and food. Not sure if I'd sail with them again.
