I had a nightmare experience with Royal Caribbean. We were one of the first bi-lingual cruises the line ever hosted - leaving from Italy and traveling the Mediterranean. The guests on the boat were mostly Italian- and they were as such catered to by staff. Every announcement was made in Italian and rarely in English. There were many fights amongst Italian and American guests, that the staff were ill-equiped to handle. When we mentioned our concerns to staff we were typically ignored, or told to call corporate. It was so disappointing, I'll never go on another cruise with them again.
I love Royal Caribbean! We have been on a few cruises with Royal Caribbean leaving from NJ and NY. The boats are awesome. The crew is always friendly. The food is pretty good. I don't care for the seated dinners, I like to eat when it is good for us. Besides that I never had any complaints. When cruising you will be safe if you sanitize your hands faithfully. Never been sick. I would recommend this cruise line.
BEST TIME EVER!!!!!! I was fortunate enough to cruise with RC twice and had a fabulous time. I loves the staff, the accommodations and the activities. I have an incident of the Allure of the Sea where a hurricane prevented us from returning to Ft. Lauderdale at the end of the trip and miss my departing flight home. RC was amazing in assisting all of the guest contacting their, family, travel agents, and airlines. They made our additional day onboard AMAZING-did I mention FREE OF CHARGE! They definitely stole my vacationing heart and will always be my first choice for cruising!
I went on a Royal Caribbean cruise in 2012 and while it was fun, it wasn't up to the standards we had hoped for. We had previously sailed with Carnival twice and we loved both of those and we kept hearing how Royal Caribbean was going to be so much better - but it wasn't. We learned later that the ship went to dry dock immediately after our cruise, so maybe the staff's friendliness levels and level of food was a direct result of that.
I absolutely love this company! They hire some really amazing people and really care about their passengers. Everywhere we stopped we were given accurate directions as well as some of the top spots to see while on shore. The amount of time spent in each stop was perfect and the ship was always welcoming at the end of the day. I absolutely love this cruise line and plan on traveling with them again in the near future.
If I am cruising, my first choice is Royal Caribbean. I have been on 4 or 5 cruises with them and they just keep getting better. Their ships are very impressive, with rock walls and ice skating rinks to wide selection at buffets and DELICIOUS meals in the main dining room for dinner. Every employee I have met has been extremely hard-working and have the most polite attitudes. They are definitely doing something right.
My first cruise was a 3 day trip to the Bahamas with my family leaving ft. Lauderdale. The easiest way to describe the trip would be trashy. The option of having unlimited drinks was definitely used (as was the unlimited buffet) and the children were just allowed to run around everywhere. My advice is to make sure you DO NOT book the cheapest trip if you can and save up for something a little more expensive with a longer trip
The first time I traveled with Royal Caribbean was in 2001 on my honeymoon. It was very clean, the food was amazingly good, the activities were extremely fun and the staff was very polite. Since then I have traveled a few more times on Royal Caribbean and I must say I had an outstanding time. The ship was very clean, family oriented and had lots of great food and fun activities and parties. I love traveling on Royal Caribbean.
I was SO ridiculously nervous to go on my first cruise and now I can't wait to plan another! I had such a blast, although the only downside was the lack of water. I didn't know it would be so hard to come across bottled water but luckily I went on a family cruise with about 40 of us so we shared a little :) can't wait to go on another!
Customer service is splendid and all other policies are equitable. Comfortable rooms, affordable packages, and smooth ride. They also have lots of onboard activities that makes it easy to entertain! 😍😍😍
