I travelled on my first Royal Caribbean cruise last year and I was surprised how nice it was. The ship was very old so that came with some difficulties but the service was always so kind amd happy. The food was okay. Only good when it was in the expensive restaurants but totally worth it. I wish there had been more activities on the ship that truly focused on my age group and not some. cheesy dance club or something in that area. The private island was beautiful and overall a good trip.
Compared to Carnival, Royal Caribbean has much nicer amenities, better food, and a generally better atmosphere. Highly recommend going to Bermuda with Royal Caribbean!
Royal Caribbean was a once in a lifetime opportunity. The staff on this cruise ship went above and beyond for their guests. I loved the many activities that were going on for either the whole family, the kids, or just adults. I feel like there was always something fun to do. I would recommend this cruise line to anyone who is wanting to go on a cruise!
Most recent cruise was a week long in the Caribbean. On board service was excellent. We requested a different table for our dinner after the first night due to a large number of rowdy children near our original table assignment. Staff was gracious & very understanding. Always helpful & pleasant. The only thing holding me back from 5 stars is the food left a tad to be desired flavor wise, which is completely understandable as they are preparing massive amounts of food at all times.
This was one of the best vacations I have ever experience. We ported out of Miami florida headed to the bahamas, key west and cocoa kay island, which is a private island owned by Royal. The food on the cruise was delicious and the staff was friendly, I really enjoyed all the on ship and on shore activities as well. The price point was not bad either.
This was my first ever cruise and I was not disappointed. They were very organized and straightforward. They had plenty of activities going on all the time! However, the food was my favorite part! You got to eat whatever and everything you wanted because we often ate so much and went to sleep we did not get to go to too many of the night activities. I WILL DEFINITELY BE GOING AGAIN!
I LOVE THIS CRUISE LINE! The rooms are so great, the staff as always been so wonderful! The sailing rewards are awesome! They definitely are much pricier than Carnival, but the quality of people is better on these ships! It is a much older crowd so the ship is typically less party like and more mellow. GO ON A CRUISE YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.
If I could give it more stars I would!!! This was my first cruise and it was amazing. There was always something to do, lots of shows movies pool parties. Everything for all ages. The food was exceptional as were the drinks and bars that were on board. The excursions that I went on were incredible and the staff was always well equipped to handle every situation
Amazing cruise line! The staff, food, entertainment, state rooms ... everything! were great! The website was very simple to book through as it walks you step by step through everything for your trip. Once on the ship, there is someone at every turn if you need anything. They are pricey, so sign up for their mailing list and keep an eye out for deals!
The seas were shakey but the staff was amazing!!!! Food in the dining hall was delicious with great wait staff, but the food in the buffet was often cold and over cooked. Ship was very clean, room attendant was very knowledgeable about events. Will recommend others to travel with them, just dont book during hurricane season like we did!!
