Our favorite cruise line! The food is better, the shows are better, and the overall experience is better than any other cruise line. I recommend the bigger and newer ships for the best experience possible!
I went on a cruise for my honeymoon. We travel to Cozumel Grand Cayman and Jamaica out of Houston Texas. Overall it was a pretty good trip however I do not think that me or my husband we taking a cruise again. We had to wait numerous hours because the cruise line had to sanitize everything apparently they had a stomach bug outbreak which made me paranoid for most of our trip about getting sick. Cruise ships seem to be an inescapable germ Factory. Viruses and stomach bugs can just run rampant during the cruise. So we just decided we would fly to whatever destination we wanted next
We went on a cruise for our honeymoon. We had the best time because the staff on the ship was so nice! Everyone always is willing to help with whatever you need. We should be going on another very soon!
First vacation as a couple and they did not disappoint us. We basically felt like we were in our on little world. There were plenty of activities on the boat like rock climbing, zumba classes, games and dances parties every night! Another plus is the food. Delicious if I don’t say so myself. We were able to indulge as we saw fit but had enough choices to still eat healthy. The gym room also made this possible as well. I would definitely travel with them again
Luxury cruise line!!! This cruise was excellent, and adult focused which was a nice change from many family focused cruise lines. Professional and attentive staff and crew- great food and night life!!
At Royal Caribbean I travel in the Freedom of the Seas I've lived one of the best times of my life, they take care of every little detail, they are amazing, every food is incredible, one is better than the other, and The route is wonderful, I visited and Jamaica, Cozumel, Coco Cay and My FAVVV was Cayman Islands, the whole trip was unforgotable. If you could travel with Royal Caribbean you should do it without thinking it too much.
I had a nightmare experience with Royal Caribbean. We were one of the first bi-lingual cruises the line ever hosted - leaving from Italy and traveling the Mediterranean. The guests on the boat were mostly Italian- and they were as such catered to by staff. Every announcement was made in Italian and rarely in English. There were many fights amongst Italian and American guests, that the staff were ill-equiped to handle. When we mentioned our concerns to staff we were typically ignored, or told to call corporate. It was so disappointing, I'll never go on another cruise with them again.
My first cruise was a 3 day trip to the Bahamas with my family leaving ft. Lauderdale. The easiest way to describe the trip would be trashy. The option of having unlimited drinks was definitely used (as was the unlimited buffet) and the children were just allowed to run around everywhere. My advice is to make sure you DO NOT book the cheapest trip if you can and save up for something a little more expensive with a longer trip
I absolutely love this company! They hire some really amazing people and really care about their passengers. Everywhere we stopped we were given accurate directions as well as some of the top spots to see while on shore. The amount of time spent in each stop was perfect and the ship was always welcoming at the end of the day. I absolutely love this cruise line and plan on traveling with them again in the near future.
I went on a Royal Caribbean cruise in 2012 and while it was fun, it wasn't up to the standards we had hoped for. We had previously sailed with Carnival twice and we loved both of those and we kept hearing how Royal Caribbean was going to be so much better - but it wasn't. We learned later that the ship went to dry dock immediately after our cruise, so maybe the staff's friendliness levels and level of food was a direct result of that.
