Royal Canin Weight Care Dry Cat Food had a faint smell compared to other cat foods. I mixed in their original cat food and this one half and half and they devoured it. Each day I added a little more of this food until that was the only thing they were eating. They would push each other in order to get at the food first. They ate this cat food quicker but stayed full longer without pawing at the cat food cupboard.

Here's the thing, I'm not sure if it's a my cat issues or what because I feel like this isn't the first time I try giving her new food or treats and she smells it, tries it then refuses to go back to it until I give her her regular stuff. She did exactly that for this food. 🙃

This product smells like normal cat food it doesn’t have any stronger or different smell. The animals seem to take to it very well with no completes. Although the pets seemed a lot fuller quicker they ate the same amount. My pets did lose about 1 pound or so but not to much. I wouldn’t mind buying it again but I would probably try regular food just feeding them less.
