I have been a dedicated Routine user for probably close to 8-9 years. In between replacing jars, I’ve bought cheaper, drugstore brand deodorants and none have worked as well. Or smelled as good! I have tried a majority of the scents and Like a Boss is my favourite (along with the Curator and Ruben and the Dark and Stormy). Routine is pricey and the initial investment can be a bit shocking. I do find that a jar lasts me a good 5-6 months. When you think about cost-per-wear in that regard, it really justifies itself. I switched to natural deodorant after dealing with chronic rashes from aluminum deodorants and anti-perspirants. Routine is great for sensitive skin and I find the clay texture really moisturizing and most importantly, non-irritating. I’ve become so used to using clay-based deodorants (applied with your fingers) that using a deodorant stick feels weird, ha. Helps with odour although like any natural deodorant, it does help to apply it more than once a day. The fact that it’s Canadian-owned and sustainably made with safe ingredients is a win for me. Also a win is the fact that many zero-waste stores have a refill option where you can (for less money than buying a new jar) refill your empty routine jars. Such a good concept!
