Ronald McDonald House is an amazing charity. They helped my husband and I out so much when my daughter was born. She was born at 32 weeks and had to spend some time in the NICU. Thinks to the Ronald McDonald House we got to be closer to our daughter. They became a home to us. They not only provided us with a place to sleep but with food and transportation to and from the hospital as well witch came in handy when my husband had to go back to work seeing that we share a vehicle. They also provided privacy and secerity. I dident have to wory about my belongings when I whent to see my baby, I knew they were safe. They are also a place of healing. everyone was so kind and help full and ginualy cared if you were haveing a bad day and did there best to help you. If yoy are looking for a charity to donate to I would recommend it anyone.

I have personally volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House. I've seen the parents whose children are extremely ill. They are far from home and worried and tired. The Ronald McDonald House helps these families take care of every day needs while away from home. An amazing organization!

My story. I don't really remember a lot about the Ronald McDonald House, but my parents told me. You see when I was two years old I had open heart surgery, I would have died within six months without this surgery. Now I can live a long life just like anyone else the wonders they can do are amazing!!! I don't tell a lot of people about my heart surgery I like to get to know them first. Well, my mom told me while I was in the hospital this place was "Heaven" sent! I was the youngest of four children, and had three older brother's with the Ronald House my mom said my brother's after my surgery could stay at the Ronald House and then my parents would bring them to see me. I can remember my one brother coming to my room (we were very close in age) and I was so excited, it means so much to me today since that brother has passed away. Without the Ronald House my parents would not have been able to bring my brother's during my time in the hospital. This Ronald McDonald House makes families so they can stay together in time of need without them some families could not be together. This is truly a home away from home. Thank you so much Ronald McDonald House Charities for making it possible for my family to be together!!!!

Such a beneficial charity that really seems to have plenty of awareness in communities. I've been working at McDonalds for almost 3 years now and we're always doing everything we can to help raise money for Ronald McDonald house charities!!

I have volunteered for RMHC and done events for and with them. They are wonderful! They do so much for families and their sick children. I was reading the lower grades that were given to this organization and I would just like to put the following out there! 1. RMHC was founded in 1974 by Eagle's football player, owner & general manager along with a regional general manager of McDonald's. This charity wasn't actually created by McDonalds, just heavily supported by people that worked for McDonalds. 2. Because of the support given by McDonalds, the charity was established in memory of the corporation's founder Ray Kroc who supported the charity & many other kid related causes. 3. RMHC has TONS of supporters, partners, volunteers, etc. that make it possible for these houses to exist NOT just supported by McDonalds, just like any other nonprofit. 4. You may NOT support McDonalds, but it is partly thanks to McDonalds that this charity even exists, so remember that you are supporting RMHC & the families, NOT McDonalds. 5. Sure, only 1 penny goes to RMHC from happy meals, but guess what, they sell over 1 billion of those things a year, that means 10 million+ goes back to RMHC, so it's still a great thing! :-)

This is such an amazing organization, having spent a good amount of my time there the last 3 years. I have been able to see families spend quality time together and it's such a great feeling. Being able to bake, and just spend time with them is the greatest feeling ever

I love the Ronald McDonald house Charities there are so many premature babies born every day and families don't want to leave the hospital buy can't afford to stay longer,so glad this charity is available to help families with a warm loving home environment to stay in near hospitals, another charity I gladly donate to every year.
