I love the Ronald McDonald foundation McDonald's was one of my first jobs and I first hand know about charity I used to volunteer with my neighbor to give to less fortunate kids or kids who were in foster care I grew up in the system and fortunately made it out alive this charity is amazing

As per my review of St Jude's, this was the next organization to help my sister and my nephew. They stayed at a Ronald McDonald House in New York back in 2010. St Jude had sent them to New York with the top eye care professionals on the East Coast. The staff of the Ronald McDonald House were very great and welcoming.

I worked for a mcdonalds for 6 yrs. We as manager would go to our local Ronald house and help out we would make meals, clean, plant flowers ect. To see the family's who this wonderful place was helping really touched my heart these people were down and out and felt lost and here is this facility that give them hope and helps them when they need it the most to take one stressful situation off their plate

When I was in the hospital, my parents stayed at the Ronald McDonald House while I was sleeping. The facilities they provide are truly priceless to parents when they want to stay close to their ill child. Please support this charity so they can continue providing a place for parents!

I first went in to labor when I was 24 weeks pregnant. The second time I went in to labor I was 26 weeks pregnant. The third time I was 29 weeks and my twin boys were born much to early. They were in the NICU for 47 days at Central Baptist in Lexington KY. For much of their hospital stay my husband, three year old son and I stayed at the Ronald McDonald house.

The employees and volunteers were wonderful to us and it only costed us $10 a night to stay there. If you didn't have the money they'd still make a way to help you.

I can remember sitting on a sofa in the playroom watching my three year old son play and crying because he kept beggingg me to take him home (2 hours away) but I still felt I needed to stay to be close to my tiny twins. A little boy came up to me in a wheel chair and said, "You're so beautiful." I wasn't beautiful at all. I hadn't showered, my hair was a mess, I was wearing sweats and no make-up. But him saying that made my day.

Each day, each family staying in the house had one chore to do. Each day of my stay there I was suppose to dust the sitting room. I never had to do my chore because a volunteer had already done it for me. I had just had a c-section so my chore being done for me meant more than words.

I don't plan on having more children but if something ever happened like that again it is comforting to know that the Ronald McDonald house is there for me and my family.

I have a friend who recently had her baby prematurely, the baby had to be taken 4 hours away to the children's hospital and they set her and her family up in the Ronald McDonald house close by so that she could be closer to her baby. It's an amazing company that does amazing things.

We've had a baby in the NICU and have had to stay in the Ronald McDonald house before and they are WONDERFUL. We donated and they will always be one of our top charity picks. What they do is AWESOME. I know it's hard to imagine YOUR baby in the hospital/NICU but when it does happen having a place like this is so amazing. It's one less thing to stress over and worry about. We are forever grateful.

Yes, Yes, Yes!  The location in Little Rock, Arkansas is truly amazing.  I know of several families who have stayed there while their children were sick at the local hospital.  What a burden lifted off these families who don't have to worry about having a place to stay or paying outrageous prices for rooms.  What a great organization that is giving back to those who need it most.

While I didn't have to stay in a Ronald McDonald house, I was able to use a lounge at our local hospital sponsored by them while my children were in the NICU. Their volunteers are always lovely, and they do their best to make the parents feel as comfortable as possible while their children are sick.
