Yes, particularly in our local races. Many of our local races were "too close to call" and the final results for some of them could not be determined until a day or so after the election.

I honestly think my vote had no impact on the election whatsoever. Even with our votes, it all comes down to the electoral college. They are supposed to represent the majority vote of their state but they do not always do that.

Nope.... when my husband and I lived in AK the election was called even before the poles were closed in AK... I was furious to know that an entire state didn't matter

If we're talking presidential, no. Obama had MA without me. We are obviously not a swing state here. I was heavily invested in the Senate race, and like to think that vote mattered a lot more. :)
